The Incline Village Real Estate market is also unique in as much as the total area of Incline Village is only 9,000 acres and will never be greater in size. This limited size of Incline Village has additional constraints on building. Over 1,000 vacant parcels have been purchased by the U.S. Forest Service through a Federal Act and are not available for construction. These acquisitions add additional green belt areas with mature pines throughout the Village, which add park-like setting adjacent to homes and condominiums.

Bob is an active community participant. On January 28, 2004, the Incline Village-Crystal Bay Chamber of Commerce honored Bob as the Citizen-of-the-Year for 2003. He is an active member in the Rotary Club of Tahoe-Incline and past President for the club in 1998/1999. He has been Chairman of Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Committee for the Real Estate Board in 1987, 1992, 2003 and again in 2006. In 1994 he was named as the Realtor-of-the-Year for the Incline Village Board of Realtors. Bob maintains certification as an Instructor of the Incline Village Board of Realtors MLS training for both basic and advanced courses and also instructs new Board members in the correct completion of Purchase Agreements and Exclusive Authorizations to Sell.

 

Bobs 23 plus years with the Incline Village Board of Realtors has made him a sought after expert by both experienced and new Realtor members. In addition to his professional activities, Bob has been active in protecting the Constitutional private property rights of all Tahoe Basin citizens. These efforts are on going. The community of Realtors with the Don Beck Award recognized him in 2002 for the many years of effort in the protection of private property rights. Bob has participated in the drafting of legislation for the Nevada Assemble in 2003, been introduced on the State of Nevada Assembly floor and testified in front of the Nevada Oversight Committee on private property rights issues.

 

In 2003 Bob was the listing or selling Broker for over $18 million in sales of residential, condominium and commercial property. 2004 sales exceed $23 million. 2005 over $14.5 million and so far in 2006 $19.5 million.
